About

Engineer-turned-yoga-practitioner building repeatable rigs for wet/dry grip, compressive set, and curl resistance. Benchmarks rubber, PU, cork, and TPE under heat and humidity to translate sensor data into on-mat confidence.

Background

During a summer hot-yoga series, my favorite mat turned into a slipway at 95°F. I went home and built a weighted drag sled, misted with saline sweat, across cork, PU, and rubber. The results flipped my preferences and proved feel could lie—numbers told the safer story.

Perspective

I favor mats with high wet-grip coefficients and torsional stability.
